University of Malta (UOM)

The University of Malta is a well-established university and the sole academic research institution in Malta.  UOM has significant experience in coordinating and implementing large-scale ERDF infrastructural projects, and has a highly efficient Projects Support Office providing support for the financial and legal aspects.

Dr. André Xuereb is a lecturer at UOM with extensive experience in optomechanical arrays. He will lead HOT’s efforts in the theoretical studies of technological applications based on massively parallel mechanical meta-materials. UOM will also lead HOT’s dissemination and outreach activities.
